I worked with vipguns.bg on their e-commerce web store, providing professional product photography and a streamlined workflow to support their online sales.
Project coordination
I coordinated directly with the marketing department and the business owner to define the final brief and delivery schedule.
Requirements included consistent pure-white backgrounds, fast turnaround, and a production process that scaled for large batches of items.
Studio workflow and technical approach
Lighting setup was designed and optimized once to achieve even, shadow-free illumination on a pure white background suitable for clipping paths and Photoshop retouching.
The setup allowed only minor tweaks when shooting significantly larger or smaller products, preserving consistency across the catalogue and minimizing downtime between shoots.
All shots were made with an eye toward post-production: exposure, white balance, and positioning were controlled so files entered retouching in the best possible state.
Collaboration with art designers
Specifically hired art designers physically cleaned and prepped every product before shooting. This reduced dust, fingerprints, and imperfections, making post-production faster and more effective and improving final image quality.
Close collaboration with the retouching team ensured images were produced in formats and resolutions ready for clipping and final edits.
Real-time upload and turnaround
Products were uploaded to the site the same day they arrived at the studio. This real-time, assembly-line approach accelerated time-to-market and kept the web store inventory current.
The workflow combined efficient on-set capture, immediate file management (we shot only in jpeg, no RAW), and coordinated handoff to retouchers and the web team.
Outcome
A consistent catalogue of e-commerce-ready images on pure white backgrounds, optimized for Photoshop retouching and web presentation.
Faster post-production and faster product-to-page turnaround thanks to upfront prep, a repeatable lighting setup, and same-day uploads.
A scalable process suitable for ongoing large-batch photography, maintaining quality while supporting high-volume e-commerce needs.
